Sleepy — Baby Sleep Sounds

Privacy Policy

Effective 14 July 2026 · Last updated 14 July 2026

Sleepy has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Your settings and listening history stay on your iPhone. The only information that ever leaves your device is what Apple needs to process a purchase.

This policy explains what Sleepy ("the app") does and does not do with information. Sleepy is made by Tidybit, an independent app developer ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, write to support@tidybit.org and we will answer in plain language.

Information that stays on your device

Sleepy saves a small amount of state locally, using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is deleted when you delete the app. It consists of:

We cannot see any of it. It is not backed up to any server we control, and no part of it is used for advertising or profiling.

Information involved in purchases

Sleepy offers optional premium purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple, and we never see, receive or store your name, card number, or billing address.

To unlock premium reliably across your devices and to restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service acting as our data processor. RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat processes this on our behalf under its own privacy policy, and stores it on servers in the United States. We use it only to decide whether your copy of the app should have premium unlocked. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to track you across apps or websites.

What Sleepy never does

Children

Sleepy plays sounds for babies, but it is a tool for parents and caregivers, and it is not directed to children. It is not distributed in the App Store's Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK): the app is built so that there is nothing to collect. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority.

Your privacy choices explains, in practical steps, how to exercise these rights.

In practice, we hold almost nothing to give you: the app's data lives on your phone, and deleting the app erases it. For purchase records held by RevenueCat, email support@tidybit.org and we will action a deletion or export request. Because the app user ID is anonymous, please write from the device in question or include your App Store receipt so we can identify the record. Where we process purchase data, our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you (delivering the premium features you paid for) and our legitimate interest in preventing payment fraud.

Data retention

On-device data lives until you delete the app. Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as your purchase may need to be restored or refunded, and are deleted on request as described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how the app handles information, note it in the app's release notes. We will not retroactively reduce your privacy for data already collected.
